  • She has one older brother.
  • She owned a dog named Blanche (nicknamed Boo).
  • Her mother was an old school friend of Ariake Jun (the 'sienne she took the "Jun" in her name from), so before she entered music school, she had only gone to see Tsukigumi performances. (source: Flets Talk Special Dec. '06)
  • Although an otokoyaku, she played two leading female roles: Scarlett O'Hara in Gone with the Wind and Elisabeth in Elisabeth.
  • The only actress in the history of the company to have played both Elisabeth (Moon 2005) and Der Tod (Moon 2009) in Takarazuka productions of Elisabeth - Ai to Shi no Rondo, she has also played Luigi Lucheni (Flower 2002-03). The only other actresses who played both Elisabeth (in Toho productions) and Der Tod (Snow 1996 and Flower 2002, respectively) are Ichiro Maki and Haruno Sumire.
  • Elisabeth is also her first post-retirement role, in the 2010 Toho production.
  • She was chosen to write the monthly GRAPH column about her classmates for 1998.
  • She is married to dancer Senda Shinji and has an adopted son. She advocates for child adoption for those who struggle with infertility, and has published a book together with her husband about their family life.
