- Although originally scheduled to play Arthur in the Bow Hall performance Portrait of the Heir (2015), she was injured two weeks before the show opened and was absent for the entire run.
- Announced on January 9th, 2016: due to injury, Rui Makise was absent from both the Grand Theater and Tokyo runs of Shakespeare / Hot Eyes!!. She was absent from the shinjin kouen as well.
