  • † Despite being listed as retiring in 1961 in several sources, the 100th Anniversary book lists her as the shinko lead in this 1962 show.
  • After retiring from Takarazuka, she became a stage and TV actress, winning several acting awards over the years and appearing in many dramas. Her most well-known TV show was, "Ofukuro Series," which continues to be rebroadcast today.
  • She was married for some time to the actor Ichikawa Enosuke, and they had a son together (Kagawa Teruyuki, who would also become a successful actor), but the two were divorced in 1968.
  • Awards: National Arts Festival Award (1962), Kikuta Kazuo Award (1989), Order of the Purple Ribbon (2000), Order of the Rising Sun (2014) for distinguished achievements in the field of Japanese culture.
